      Disposition:

      Outgoing and Friendly: She’s the type of person to go out of her way to say hello to a stranger on the sidewalk. The kind of person that will happily strike up a conversation with people around her while eating her lunch or drinking. Or even invite others over for a nice meal. In large part this can be due to her general history of being surrounded by those larger and stronger than her. Eliciting a general need to be outgoing and make as many friends as possible, while avoiding as much trouble as possible. She talks first and then takes action second, as any action taken on her own account could be costly. The down side of this is that she is eager to please, be pleased, and will generally go well out of her way to see that everyone is kept happy.

      Battlefield of Europe: She’s the protective sort and can be quite scary when provoked. Being surrounded by those larger and stronger than her has also led to her seeing her home destroyed on more than one occasion. Much to her great dismay, as she quickly finds herself stuck in the middle of everyone’s problems. Leading to her becoming staunchly defensive of herself and others. Whenever she notices something, she feels is wrong then Belgium can be expected to quickly speak out against whatever that is. Especially as it might pertain to her friends and family. While she would very much rather avoid conflict, she also understands that conflict is largely unavoidable.

      Gourmet: She loves good food and has a rather high standard of living. While her home has been destroyed or taken over time and again, she often bounces back, and prides herself on having a high level of development and wealth. Enough to rival that of her brother at times. The downside to this being that she will often look to set herself up for higher expectations, which can both be good and bad. In general, it tends to be a good thing, as it leads to her seeking to better herself. The bad to this, however, means that she often finds it difficult to be satisfied with small gains.

      Independent: She’s used to both standing for herself, and having her home be occupied by others. The latter of which, has caused the former. While she will at times, look back at her status as a territory of Spain, or her time as being unified with her brothers, with some positive light. Ultimately, Belgium views herself as her own person… or nation. She does not enjoy being told what she should do, or shouldn’t, and will often speak out against those that try. Nor does she enjoy being pressed into a situation where she has no say in what is happening.

      Suitability:

      She’ll be fairly conservative at first when it comes to Synchrony at first. Given that she had just arrived in a strange place surrounded by rock aliens and people from other worlds; most of all of whom she doesn’t know. Most of it will be hidden behind a bit of flirtation or irritability but will ultimately ease up over time. Especially when it comes down to the need for physical contact with others. She’s no prude, but when placed under stress her mind tends to home in on what she feels needs to be done first. And physical affection is often the last on the list. While bodily transformations will absolutely freak her out at first, regardless of her knowing that’s a thing that happens. She most certainly won’t know what to make of it at first but will slowly ease into it as she plods along like everything else. Once the initial shock has fully worn off Belgium won’t mind too much.

      In fact, chances are high that once she’s settled in, she may toy around with her gem powers a bit. Looking for ways to leverage and capitalize on them. As long as she’s here, then she may as well figure out how they work, what they can and can’t do, and so on. Belgium is nothing, if not flexible and capitalistic. If she can find a way to profit off of something, then she will. Just not quite as cutthroat as her brother might be.

      As for the native gems themselves. Well, she’ll just treat them with some curiosity and will go out of her way to learn more about them. Potentially even marveling over how their world is ran, especially in terms of vehicles that leave no carbon footprint. She’ll be especially interested in that.

      Condition upon arrival: Tired, arriving after a EU meeting and dressed in a suit.

      Abilities: (Keep this section under 500 words.)

      Strength: While not exactly the strongest nation out there, she is much stronger than the average human. Capable of lifting large objects without breaking much of a sweat. She’s not going to be lifting a tank over her head though (she’s not America strong) but could lift a small car.
      Endurance: Much like the strength bit, her endurance is greater than that of the average human. Again, not Superman levels, but very much noticeable.
      Immortal: She can still be physically harmed but can’t necessarily be killed by normal means. Being the spirit of a nation means that so long as there are people that consider themselves Belgian to some extent, then she’ll still exist.
      Spiritual connection: While nothing incredible like reading minds or pinpointing people. Being the personification of a nation has given her an ability to feel people that consider themselves to be Belgian. Basically, she’s able to sense her people on a deep-rooted level.
